Final Layer of Asphalt Paving
this is an upcoming stage for Jordan Village Improvement ProjectYou may have noticed a slight gap between the newly paved asphalt and the concrete curb gutter. This was done intentionally as it is good practice to allow time for the base layer of asphalt to settle. The final layer of asphalt provides a smooth finish at the final grade. This also allows for minimal seams between different phases of construction. As such, the last layer of asphalt will be delayed a minimum of one year to allow for a smooth, seamless finish at the end of the project.
