Jordan Village Construction Update - May 26, 2023

Recent Work Completed (Previous 2 Weeks):

  • Main Street Phase 4A:
    • Reopened to traffic by the end of the day, over 1 month ahead of schedule!
    • Completed surface works including sidewalks, driveway aprons, decorative crosswalk, and asphalt paving.
    • Please note the final lift of asphalt will be paved next spring.
  • Main Street Phase 4B:
    • Completed sanitary sewer main.
    • Ongoing vibration monitoring to verify vibrations caused by construction remain within acceptable limits.
  • Nineteenth Street Public Parking lot:
    • Completed concrete bus drop-off, curb works, and fine grading.

Expected Works (May 26 – June 9):

  • Main Street Phase 4A:
    • Installation of streetlights
  • Main Street Phase 4B:
    • Sanitary sewer service installations
    • Installation of storm sewer
  • Nineteenth Street Public Parking lot:
    • Parking lot will be open for the weekend in stone. Paving and paint marking is tentatively scheduled for May 29/30 and the parking lot will be closed during working hours.
    • Installation of sidewalks, lighting, and landscaping.
  • Nineteenth Street:
  • Completing landscaping and streetlight installations.
