NRT OnDemand is a ridesharing pilot project for communities in West Niagara run by the Niagara Region. Residents can book a ride by using the OnDemand Transit App or by calling the customer service number. Via Mobility operates the service in partnership with Niagara Region providing technology, logistics, marketing and customer service support.

NRT OnDemand doesn't operate on a fixed route like conventional transit services. It lets riders request trips in real-time through the app or over the phone by selecting a pickup point and destination. The service will take riders anywhere across West Niagara, and Niagara -on-the-Lake, and to designated transit hubs in St. Catharines, Welland, and Port Colborne.

Fares and Service Areas

Your fare allows you to travel from your location to the pre-set destination you select when you book your ride. This is a flat fee service. The price will never increase based on your location or service area.

  • $3 for trips within Lincoln
  • $6 for trips to other communities (available to residents of Grimsby, Lincoln, Pelham, Wainfleet, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and West Lincoln)

For riders who cannot purchase rides using a credit card or visa debit, pre-purchased ride passes are available at Lincoln Town Hall, the Fleming Centre, and the Vineland branch of the Lincoln Public Library.

Riders can connect with regular Niagara Regional Transit or other local transit services at designated transit hubs using a transfer ticket available from bus operators and on demand vehicle drivers.
