  • Jordan Valley Pumping Station

    The Jordan Valley Sanitary Pumping Station (SPS) and Force Main Upgrades project will involve replacing pumps and making minor structural improvements to the pumping station to enhance system reliability and performance.

    The tender process has now closed, with construction expected to begin in Summer 2026 and take one year to complete.

Niagara Region is undertaking the Niagara Escarpment Crossing Comprehensive Environmental Assessment (previously known as an Individual Environmental Assessment). The study aims to improve the capacity for goods movement and redirect truck traffic away from residential areas in west Niagara. The assessment will look at a range of options to demonstrate the need for a new crossing of the escarpment.

A road reconstruction is planned for King Street (Regional Road 81) from Vinehaven Trail to Twenty-Third Street in Lincoln to improve road conditions, infrastructure, road capacity, on-street parking, streetscaping and urban design, as well as overhead utility conversion.

Niagara Region will be rehabilitating the Sixteen Mile Creek Bridge. Design work will start in 2025 and construction is planned for October 2026.
