Welcome to our new online engagement site, Speak Up Lincoln!
Here, we will share information and invite your feedback on Town of Lincoln initiatives that have impact on your community.
This online engagement hub provides a centralized location for information and opportunities to share your feedback. Here, you can learn about, track, and review Town projects and issues that are important to you - at a time and place that's convenient for you.
Our vision for this site
This is your place to have your say on local projects and priorities. Complementing the Town's offline participation opportunities, Speak Up Lincoln brings the conversations together in one central place. Through this online engagement tool, we are expanding the horizons on how the community and Town staff talk and share ideas about projects and concepts.
Speak Up Lincoln also provides an opportunity to stay connected when we are more physically distanced than ever.
This is just one of the ways we are supporting Council's priority of being a Vibrant Community, by enhancing citizen engagement and participation, and identifying opportunities for greater transparency, accountability and inclusion.
We want to hear from you!
Please take a moment to share your comments and let us know which areas or topics you'd like to learn more about and provide feedback on. We plan to provide these opportunities as they become available, in alignment with our annual corporate budgets and Council priorities.

RE: former Prudhomme's site: absolutely necessary to make a beautiful park and promenade....don't cut corners here!! Google promende in any water bordering country in Europe for inspiration. Also, Ontario St. is a bit of an eyesore. How about a giant billboard with a vineyard theme to welcome people to our community or an arch similar to Grimsby's?

I agree with sue, I think ..Ontario street signage is not necessary!! When you drive into our town you would want it to look welcoming .. No so much with these signs..if they want to advertise there business let them put an add in our local paper. Also the pathway from the post office leading into ivy gardens needs a cleanup. There has been debris there for years! I've have addressed it to the town but nothing has been done.

Snow clearance on Jordan's sidewalks is not evident. What is the policy?

Wondering if Miller ave in Vineland will be getting the road fixed with the built in speed valley's now starting to affect our cars. Lived on this street for over 30 years with zero road work done. No we have had asphalt put into a couple of holes the last couple of years.

I would love to see some of our roads repaved and fixed. Tallman Street is terrible plus the road is higher than the sidewalks so all the water ends up on the sidewalks where you try to walk. This is only one road of many.

I was going to go for a walk at Kinsmen Park. I realized that to get on the trail I would have to walk through the mud hole parking lot. I’m hoping they will pave it.

Hi I would like to put forward a suggestion for more lighting on the pathway through Hilary Bald park. I found over the winter it was very dark walking through and as I am older I found it uncomfortable that I couldn't see the path in front of me very clearly. Anyone else feel that way?.

Great idea to create this site. My beef: Isn't it time to clean up the signage situation on Ontario Street and to begin considering a beautification plan for given street? This morning I counted 16 temporary signs between John and Greenlane, as well as a number of other signs that do not make our Gateway street very attractive! Do we have a policy on consistency? Truly, I just find Ontario very unattractive and am sad that this is often the first site visitors see going into Lincoln.

I am most concerned over the increasing amounts of refuse and garbage being tossed into the culverts in the neighborhood, specifically the areas bounded by John St., Bartlett Rd., Greenlane, and Sann Rd. It's atrocious.

A good topic would be how Lincoln can deal with the increased broadband network requirements of residents. Internet connectivity options are extremely limited in Lincoln.
How can rural Lincoln residents keep from disappearing form the digital world.

A discussion on the impact of the economic lockdowns on tourism and business. Perhaps a presentation of data on how the revenue lost in taxes (due to shutdowns) will impact the budget and our ability to absorb and provide services to the 1000s of new residents moving to Lincoln.

Traffic and infrastructure are concerns that need to be addressed

Road safety both speed and truck traffic. Any future development projects. Insufficient medical professionals in region plans to attract more to support growing population. Maintaining the character of our down town.
