Rittenhouse Road Reconstruction Project

Rittenhouse Road is proposed to be upgraded to a complete urban standard.

The reconstruction of Rittenhouse Road will take place between Victoria Ave and King Street. View the construction location map for this project here.

The proposed construction improvements will include:

• A new larger cross culvert west of Glendale Avenue

• A newly constructed road with a concrete curb, gutters, and storm sewers

• Sanitary sewer replacement

• Traffic calming infrastructure (raised crosswalks, bump-outs, pedestrian crossover, etc.)

• Sidewalks and a focus on active transportation

• Streetlighting improvements

The Town has tendered the project, and Town Council has approved and awarded it to Alfred Beam Construction Limited. The Town has a positive working relationship with Alfred Beam Construction Limited. It is anticipated that the contractor will mobilize to the site in January 2022 and initiate construction at the site's east side.

    Thank you for your patience.   At this time, we anticipate construction to start in January.  We will share further updates as they become available.

    The sidewalk will be on the north side of the street, we would recommend not resurfacing your driveway as we will be removing and replacing a portion of your driveway with our construction.  If you have any further questions please reach out to Jemma Lynch jlynch@lincoln.ca
