The Town of Lincoln will be making enhancements to parks near you! Keep up to date by checking back as we update this page with new projects, information, photos and surveys. We also encourage you to leave questions and comments in the box at the bottom of this page.
Say How You Play!
Enhancements are coming to Angelina Macri Prokich Park, Vineland Neighbourhood Park, Rittenhouse Park and Jack Simpson Park! When Lincoln residents engage and contribute to park design, it enables the Town to build better parks and the public continues to enjoy and care for places they helped to create. It is truly the people who use these spaces that make a difference and help to define them as places the community can enjoy spending time in. We want to hear from YOU! Please participate by completing the surveys.
Resurfacing Lincoln's Play Spaces
Outdoor community play spaces provide flexible, unstructured play opportunities for Lincoln's children and youth. For a play space to fully serve the community, it must consider abilities of all levels. Play space surfaces are one of the most important components in designing safe, accessible spaces. Rubber surfacing enables children and youth of varying abilities to participate and socialize with their peers through play.
Currently, most playgrounds in Lincoln utilize wood mulch chips as the safety surfacing. Through the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario's ICIP: Community Culture and Recreation - Rehabilitation and Renovation Grant Funding, the Town of Lincoln will be resurfacing all mulch play spaces with poured in place rubber, including:
- Angelina Macri Prokich Park, located at 5045 Connor Drive, Beamsville
- Ashby Drive Park, located at 4079 Ashby Drive, Beamsville
- Beamsville Lions Park, located at 5100 Fly Road, Beamsville
- Charles Daley Park, located at 1969 North Service Road, Jordan Station
- Elizabeth Street Park, located at 5083 Elizabeth Street, Beamsville
- Hilary Bald Park, located at 4485 Garden Date Terrace, Beamsville (in construction)
- Jack Simpson Park, located at 4940 Drake Avenue, Beamsville
- Jordan Lions Park, located at 2793 Fourth Avenue, Jordan Station (in construction)
- Meadowood Park, located at 5076 Hartwood Avenue, Beamsville
- Rittenhouse Park, located at 4003 Azalea Crescent, Vineland
- St. Volodymyr Park, located at 4560 Cedar Brook Lane, Beamsville
- Village Park, located at 4261 Village Park Drive, Beamsville
Additionally, the multi-use court at Ashby Drive Park was resurfaced with asphalt through this grant funding.

A new pathway at Jack Simpson Park was installed to connect from Drake Avenue to Cameron Avenue. Construction was completed mid June, 2022.
The Town would also like to hear what additional amenities/enhancements you would like to see added to this park in the future (ie. picnic tables, swings, other play elements, more lighting, etc.). Please provide your specific ideas by completing this survey.
