Sump Pump Plumbing and Outlet Alterations

As part of the Jordan Village Improvement Project, all roadside ditches will be eliminated along Main and Nineteenth Streets and replaced with curb and gutter and storm sewer. As such, all residents/businesses that have a sump pump outlet that discharges to the existing ditch will need to alter their plumbing to ensure that their sump pumps will continue to work properly.

At this time, the Town is asking residents and businesses to confirm the following information:

1. House Number & Street Name

2. Do you have a Sump Pump installed?

• If not sure, please contact Dave for assistance (info below)

3. If answered “Yes” above, do you know where the sump outlets to:

• Ditch, Yard, Storm Sewer, Other, Not Sure
  • If other, please specify
  • If not sure, please contact Dave for assistance (info below)

Please call or email Dave with your answers to the above questions.

Once these answers are received, Dave will reach out regarding next steps which may include:

• Nothing (for those whose sump pumps drain into a yard or overground)
• Converting from ditch outlet to yard outlet or connection to storm sewer (for those whose sump pumps outlet to ditch or have storm sewer connection)
