Private Side Hookups for Hydro Conversion

Dear resident/business:

The new underground hydro infrastructure has successfully been energized and it is now time to permanently hookup your hydro to the new plant.

Our contractor, RH Electric of Beamsville, will begin connecting hydro to the new plant starting next week. The Town will be contacting individuals a few days in advance of work being performed at your property. It could be a few weeks before we get to your connection.

What to expect on the day your hydro is being converted:

• RH Electric will prep the switchover and complete as much work as possible prior to turning off your power
• Expect to be without power for 4 hours as connections are made to your homes/businesses electric meter

It is not expected that RH Electric will need to enter the residence/business, but if they do we will reach out to owners on an individual basis.
