Join Us for Lincoln's Earth Week Cleanup
This Earth Day, the Town of Lincoln is coming together with local organizations, businesses, and volunteers for a week-long community litter cleanup.
This initiative is all about taking pride in our shared spaces—helping to protect local wildlife, keep our neighbourhoods beautiful, and prevent waste from entering our waterways. By working together, we can make a meaningful impact and show our commitment to a cleaner, greener Lincoln.
Residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and join Town staff on Wednesday, April 22 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a community cleanup in celebration of Earth Day.
Cleanup efforts will take place throughout the week with support from incredible community partners:
- Green Herons – Tuesday, April 21 (11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
- Town of Lincoln staff and volunteers – Wednesday, April 22 (12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.)
- Downtown Bench Beamsville BIA, local businesses, Rotary Club, Jacob Beam Public School, and West Niagara Secondary School – Thursday, April 23 (10:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.)
- First Beamsville Scouting – Tuesday, April 21 through Thursday, April 21 evenings and Saturday, April 25 afternoon.
Whether you join us or do your own cleanup, every piece picked up makes a difference.
Cleanup kits are also available at the Fleming Centre, Lincoln Pelham Public Library, and the Lincoln Museum & Cultural Centre. Please email recreation@lincoln.ca to coordinate garbage pickups.
Let’s work together to keep Lincoln clean and thriving!
